What’s designed to carry 11 combat-loaded air assault troops, is capable of moving a 105-millimeter howitzer and 30 rounds of ammunition and was first deployed in 1978? Not sure? It’s a UH-60 BlackHawk front-line utility helicopter. These helicopters are used for aeromedical evacuation, air cavalry assaults and in special operations platforms.

The Black Hawk helicopter has been part of dramatic improvements in primary-division level helicopter transport. Troop capacity and cargo lift are two benefits of using the Black Hawk. These helicopters also offer features that improve patient care including; neonatal isolettes, oxygen generating systems and environmental control systems.

I have never been the frou-frou type, and one of my girlfriends had hot-pink leather luggage that I hated. I wanted something simple, something classic and functional. I couldn’t have been happier when my Dad offered me his army duffle bag. It was perfect.
